Contract Expiry: 31st May 2010
Profile:
'Tosher' was signed in 2007 shortly after Jamie McQuilken in what was
effectively a double swoop on neighbours Gretna by Ian McCall and
struggled initially to have an impact due to a bad knee injury picked
up early on in his Queens career. The following season though he went
from strength to strength once played in central midfield and was a
pivotal figure in the Scottish Cup run, scoring the first goal in both
semi final and final. For this alone he will go down in history. The
quiz king in the squad had a quieter season last year but still added
six goals to the cause and agreed a one year extension in the summer
that will take him through to his 37th birthday.

season.

in January 2007 after becoming surplus to requirements at Gretna,
'Jammer' has been a big success at Queens. Initially playing left back
but since the arrival of Bob Harris has probably played more often on
the left of midfield. Even entering the veteran stage of his career

County, Raith Rovers, ICT, Livingston, St Johnston (loan)
Contract Expiry: 31st December

as soon as the January 2009 transfer window opened from Inverness
Caledonian Thistle. Made an immediate impact scoring the SFL's first
goal on 2009 on his debut at Morton and added four more before the

him in. Prefers to play on the right of midfield but has featured on
the left for Queens at times. Signed a seven month extension to his

will look to be more involved this term. He did contribute four goals
last season though. Signed a one year extension to his contract in
September 2009.
Player profile: A talented
player who won the SFL Division 1 player of the month for January
2009. Can play upfront or on the wing to equal effect. Another

his career out on loan from Celtic. He finally departed the Parkhead
club in January 2009 for Hamilton Accies but failed to gain a longer

year contract and will look to freshen up the midfield.

Profile:
Summer 2008 signing from the defunct Gretna side, having been a regular
in their SPL season. Can play at right back but latterly
has featured most often for Queens at centre back. Was a regular for
most of last season but lost his place towards the end of the season
due to suspension and will have to watch his discipline this season,
having been booked an incredible 12 times in addition to one straight
red card.
Profile:
A revelation after a low key arrival from Clyde in the summer of 2007,
Bob has made himself an automatic pick at left back and was nominated
to the First Division Team of the Season in that position last season.
Has contributed a few goals also, including last year's Goal of the
Season, a thumping free kick over in Denmark during our UEFA Cup defeat
to FC Nordsjaelland.

Profile:
Signed from Celtic on January 31st 2008 after a loan spell at Stirling
Albion which unfortunately saw him 'cup tied' and unable to figure in
the run to the Scottish Cup Final that season. Predominantly used as a
right back but can also line up in the centre of defence. Signed a one
year extension to his initial 18 month deal in the summer.
Profile:
Signed from St Mirren the week before the 2008 Scottish Cup Final
having somewhat lost his way with the Paisley club despite being a
frequent scorer in their First Division years. Made an encouraging
start with Queens but lost his goal-touch and his place in the team
after a month or so. Recaptured some form towards the end of last
season and will look to build on that this term.

financial doubts caused by the Setanta tv deal collapse.
Player profile: Former Scotland
U21 defender joined Queens in late June with the objective of gaining
more first team experience. Turned down the opportunity of a one
year extension with St Mirren to do so.
Player profile: A solid 'keeper

courted by many other clubs after being released by Clyde due to their
financial struggles.
Previous Clubs:Clyde, Stenhousemuir, Queen of the South, Arbroath

Entering his testimonal year in 2009 big Jim is the club captain and
